1) What do you work towards in your free time?
In my free time, I like to write a couple of songs, take some time off to myself and if I’m lucky visit my friends and family back home.
2) Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
I see myself with a family, kids and hopefully to have improved with my career, even though I don’t see myself continuing with it for very much longer.
3) Which artists do you believe are the most influential?
In my opinion, artists such as Rihanna and Adele are influential, because they started out with a small amount of fans and grew into huge successes in a short amount of time.
4) Are you currently working on any major projects?
I’m hoping to release my new album next fall. In the meantime I’m working on my own TV series, which will be kept a secret until March.
5) When did you get into acting?
I got into acting when I was about 5 or 6, after joining the school production. Before all of this, I used to take a lot of acting classes, however it’s hard to do so nowadays since I’m always busy working.
6) How has stardom changed you?
Stardom has made me realise how important it is to stay loyal to those around me and to stay humble at all times.
7) Have you started writing songs for your next album? If you have, then what will we expect from it?
Yes I have and my new songs will be slightly different from what I’ve previously released, and will focus on more of a different genre. My new album will focus on things such as relationships and life.
8) Are you thinking about collaborating with any other artists for future albums?
I don’t plan on collaborating with any artists soon, as I’m not really into those things and would just like my music to be kept to myself.
9) What have you learnt from being in the music industry, and what advice would you give your younger self because of it?
I learnt that people will be competitive and will hate on you from working in the music industry. If I could tell my younger self something then I would tell her to ignore all the negativity that she is faced with.
10) How do you use your celebrity status to benefit others?
I have a lot of influence to young people; I like to tell them about my mistakes in hopes that they will learn from it. The money I earn is also given to many charities around the world, as helping people makes me feel a lot better about myself.
11) What did you work, as before becoming an artist?
I worked at a charity shop for a few months and then went onto working as one of the music teachers at my old school.
12) As of now you are a celebrity, but are there any instances in your life where you wanted to quit?
Yes, there were several instances in my life where I wanted to quit my job as a singer, due to all the hate I was receiving at one point, on all of my social media accounts.
13) How do you balance your work and private life?
It is the most difficult thing to balance your work life and your private one. However, I frequently take breaks throughout the year so that I can just run away from it all with my family.
14) Is your celebrity status a gift or a curse?
To be honest…it’s both! I’m definitely grateful for everything that I’ve been getting ever since I started my singing career, and wouldn’t change any of it for the world, but there are some instances in my life where I see my career as a curse, just because of the amount of hate I’m sent on a daily basis, not being able to see my friends and family enough and not getting enough free time.
